Research InformationCentrelink uses several market research companies to conduct regular surveys of its customers to find out how satisfied they are with the service Centrelink provides, especially from its Customer Service Centres and over the telephone. Twice a year, the views of around 65 000 customers are sought. Taking part in these surveys is voluntary. Centrelink provides research companies with limited customer details, such as name, address and telephone numbers (except for silent numbers) to enable them to conduct the surveys. The surveys are completely confidential and comply with the Social Security Act 1991, the Privacy Act 1988 and Information Privacy Principles. Centrelink does not get information that could identify any individual or the responses they gave. How do I find out more?
