Compensation Organisations eServices:Compensation Organisations eServices (COeS) is an internet based facility used by third party organisations to respond electronically to Centrelink requests for customer compensation detail verification. This eService supplements Centrelink’s current letters based process.
What will the Compensation Organisation eService system provide?The Compensation Organisations e-Service (COeS) will allow third parties to receive and send information to Centrelink via a secure messaging system. [ return to top ] Why is Centrelink introducing the electronic transfer service?The Australian Government is committed to reducing ‘red tape’ for the business community and making interacting with Centrelink easier. The Minister for Human Services is committed to reducing the number of letters Centrelink sends to organisations, business and customers each year. Centrelink is exploring different options for introducing eBusiness data exchanges with third party organisations. eBusiness will provide third party organisations with the option of electronic transfer of information with Centrelink. [ return to top ] How will the electronic transfer service work?Third Party Organisations will be able to login to a secure application that will allow the transmission of documents and files between the institution and Centrelink. All files will be sent via a secure messaging system to a password protected mailbox.
