How do I complete Centrelink business as an organisation nominee online?
Your organisation needs to register for Centrelink Business Online Services as an organisation. You can do this via the ‘Register’ button in the ‘Business Online Services’ page.
Part of the registration process includes linking of your AUSkey (digital credential). If your AUSkey is unable to be authenticated and linked during the registration process you must link your AUSkey when you next log into Centrelink Business Online Services to access Nominee Services Online.
Once registered, the first page you see after you have logged into online services is the ‘Business Online Services Homepage, where you can choose from a number of options:
- manage your own or organisation’s details
- request a new service or contact
- access the Organisational Online Mail System or
- choose to act on behalf of one of your organisation’s principals.
To conduct Centrelink business on behalf of one of your principals, choose the ‘Select a Person to Act For’ option. Once you have finished conducting their business, select ‘Leave record’.
In the case where you have more than 700 current customers that you are a nominee for, you will be presented with a search page where you can select the person you wish to act for by their Customer Reference Number (CRN), name or date of birth. If you have 700 or fewer customers that you are a nominee for, the customer/s will be listed on the ‘Search/Select who you wish to act for’ page, however you will still have access to the search facility if you wish to use it.

I’m registered as a nominee, why can’t I see my customer on the ‘select who you wish to act for’ page?
When you register for online services as a nominee you will have access to all the customers you are a nominee for in the 'Select who you wish to act for' page. If you can't see a customer, it may be because you have not linked your AUSkey or you are no longer a nominee for this person. If you believe this not to be the case, please contact us for assistance.

Online services is a new way for you to do business for the customer/s you are a nominee for. If a customer is not already registered for online services, they may also register themselves separately to conduct business online.
