If the person is already employed and the outcome of the checks is not satisfactory, their employment will be terminated immediately. [ return to top ] Do you consent to a Health check?A health clearance is a condition of engagement for all ongoing employees to determine if the employee is medically fit to perform the duties for which they are engaged. This involves a medical examination performed by Health Services Australia or another provider approved by Centrelink. [ return to top ] Did you answer no to any of these questions or have you taken a Voluntary redundancy in the last twelve months?If you answered 'no' to any of the questions above or you have taken a Voluntary redundancy from an APS or Commonwealth Agency in the last twelve months you may not be eligible to apply for employment with Centrelink. A person who has received a redundancy benefit from an APS agency or a non-APS Commonwealth employer may not be engaged as an APS employee within twelve months of ceasing employment.
