Graduates with qualifications in Human Resources could expect to be part of a dynamic work environment that leads Centrelink’s people capabilities, strategic planning, change management, and parliamentary and executive services for a workforce of around 27 000 people Australia wide.

The People and Planning Division is responsible for ensuring Centrelink has a skilled, engaged, ethical and flexible workforce. As a graduate in this area, you could be given the opportunity to develop and implement a Change Management Framework, provide ongoing HR advice to employees in accordance with Centrelink policies, identify organisational learning needs and maintain successful ongoing relationships with the Minister and Department of Human Services.

You could even be responsible for providing strategic advice to the CEO on matters relating to People Management. With such large staff numbers the opportunities to make a difference through innovative and new ideas are always there.
