Community Budget 2008-09 BroadcastThe Community Budget Broadcast was held on Wednesday 4 June. Centrelink Customer Service Centres and Area Offices were selected to host a Broadcast where community groups and interested parties were invited to watch. Senator the Hon Joe Ludwig, Minister for Human Services, The Hon Jenny Macklin MP, Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and The Hon Brendan O’Connor MP, Minister for Employment Participation made up the panel. Presenter Ross Symons took questions from community groups via phone and fax. Questions relevant to each Ministers' portfolio were answered live. A transcript of the broadcast is available here.
