8 November 2005 Floods (NSW & SA)

Centrelink adminstered ex-gratia assistance to help people meet essential costs for immediate out of pocket expenses where people lost their principal place of residence as a consequence of the flooding.

Payments to households of $1,000 per adult and $400 per child were payable to eligible people in this situation.
