Community support - South West Queensland Floods - March 2010

During responses to disasters, Centrelink continues to provide its normal services to the community as well as extra assistance to those people most affected and needing additional help and support.

Coordination centres

For information on the locations of Coordination Centres, refer to the Queensland Department of Community Services website.

Mobile Office locations

Mobile Office 1 will be providing assistance to people affected by the floods. Check the schedule below to see where the Mobile Office will be located:

Emergency assistance

People can also visit their nearest Centrelink Customer Service Centre during office hours, where Centrelink staff will help people with their claims for the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment and any other Centrelink assistance.
