December 2004 - Tsunami Recovery Assistance

Centrelink provided a range assistance for victims and their families directly affected by the December 2004 tsunamis.

Centrelink adminstered payments for domestic travel within Australia, funeral assistance, assistance for people returning to Australia, and reuniting hospitalised victims.
