Claim forms while you are studying or training
If you are studying or training (or planning to undertake study or training) there are a number of payments you could be eligible to claim. Listed below are claim forms that may assist you in claiming a payment from Centrelink and /or the Family Assistance Office
- ABSTUDY - assistance for Indigenous secondary or tertiary students and Australian Apprentices.
- Assistance for Isolated Children - provides assistance if your family has a primary, secondary or under 16 year old tertiary student who cannot go to an appropriate government school because you live too far away.
- Austudy - income support for full-time students and Australian Apprentices aged 25 years or over.
- Fares Allowance - for tertiary students who are living away from their permanent home to study.
- Low Income Health Care Card - holders may be entitled to a variety of government and private company concessions.
- Pensioner Education Supplement - for people who are currently studying, or intend to study in the near future.
- Youth Allowance - for full-time students or Australian Apprentices aged 16 to 24 and young people aged under 21 who are undertaking job search or a combination of approved activities.
