Assistance for carers when looking for work

You can work (including voluntary work and paid work) or study for a total of 25 hours per week including travel time and still be eligible for Carer Payment. Any income you receive may affect your Carer Payment.

Working, volunteering or studying will generally not affect your eligibility for Carer Allowance as long as you continue to provide care.
