Australian Government Mobile Offices
The Australian Government has been supporting rural communities through mobile drought assistance servicing since November 2006, with 2 Mobile Offices travelling extensively throughout country Australia. In response to the diverse needs of rural customers, these Mobile Offices now provide a broader range of government payments and services, making it easier for people to conduct their business with Centrelink.
The Australian Government recognises that people in rural communities deserve the best possible access to government payments and services, and that many rural residents are affected by remoteness and isolation and may need to travel greater distances to access vital services.

About the Australian Government Mobile Offices

People will be able to speak to someone about the assistance available, including experts who know about working on the land, Rural Services officers and social workers, and everyone in between.
Free information on tackling depression in tough times is available on the Australian Government Mobile Offices from beyondblue: the national depression initiative.
