About the Training and Learning Bonus for Postgraduate Scholarship HoldersAs part of the Australian Government’s Household Stimulus Package, Centrelink is paying a one-off $950 Training and Learning Bonus payment to postgraduate scholarship holders. [ return to top ] EligiblityTo be eligible for the bonus payment, you must be studying full-time in a higher education degree by research program (masters or doctorate degree) in Semester 1, 2009 and:
[ return to top ] Bonus amountThe bonus is $950. [ return to top ] When will the bonus be paid?Centrelink will assess claims and make payments to eligible students from 18 May 2009. [ return to top ] ClaimingTo make a claim, complete the Training and Learning Bonus for Postgraduate Scholarship Holders(A1931) claim form and return it, along with a photocopy of your scholarship details:

[ return to top ] How will the bonus be paid?Bonus payments to eligible postgraduate scholarship students will be made from 18 May 2009. If you are eligible and have made a claim, the bonus payment will be paid directly into your nominated bank account. [ return to top ] Can I receive this bonus and another Household Stimulus bonus?You cannot receive this bonus if you have already received a Training and Learning Bonus or Back to School Bonus payment for your study.
