Listed below are specific services and programs that you can use if you are a parent or guardian.
- Child support - The Child Support Agency under the Department of Human Services assists in the collection of child support payments and helps separated parents manage the financial responsibility of their children.
- My family is separating - what now? - an Australian Government website assisting separating families to find your way around the Family Law System, understand your rights and responsibilities and access support.
- Personal/Family Counselling - help if you are having personal or family difficulties from a Centrelink Social Worker.
- Social Work Services - Social Workers are available to help customers in Centrelink Customer Service Centres and Call Centres.
- Special Disability Trusts - help for parents and immediate family members responsible for the future care and accommodation needs of a person with a severe disability.
