Centrelink customers in Tumut can enjoy the benefits of a new customer service centre after the office relocated to a new site.
Manager of Tumut Centrelink, Shelley Cole, said the office has moved to a new and spacious location on the corner of Merivale and Russell Streets.
"The new office provides a more comfortable environment, greater privacy, and easier access to information products, so customers can access the services they need in a new, fresh and spacious environment," Ms Cole said.
"The office now has its own 22-space carpark, and the corner location means it will be even easier for customers to access.
"We also have the latest self-service facilities in the office, so customers can complete some of their Centrelink business online or on the phone.
"The new improved office reflects Centrelink’s focus on customer-friendly service centres that are easy to navigate and provide a friendly environment for all customers.
"Whether you are a job seeker, retiree, student, parent or guardian, someone with a disability or a carer, all customers can benefit from the new and improved office," Ms Cole said.
The new Centrelink customer service centre is located at 35 Merivale Street, Tumut and is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm weekdays (closed between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm).
