Friday, 19 March 2010
Centrelink customers in Parkes can enjoy the benefits of a new Customer Service Centre when the office opens at a new location on Monday 29 March 2010.
Parkes Centrelink manager, Julie Russell, said the office is moving to a new and fresh location at 57 Currajong Street.
“The new office provides a more comfortable environment, greater privacy, and easier access to information products, so customers can access the services they need in a new, fresh and spacious environment,” Ms Russell said.
“The office at Clarinda Street will close its doors for the last time at 4:30 pm on Friday 26 March.
“To ensure that services to customers are not affected, the relocation will take place over the weekend, before the brand new office opens for business on Monday.
“The office is fitted out with the latest self-service facilities, so customers can complete some of their Centrelink business online or on the phone.
“The new improved office reflects Centrelink’s focus on customer-friendly service centres that are easy to navigate and provide a friendly environment for all customers.
“Whether you are a job seeker, retiree, student, parent or guardian, someone with a disability or a carer, all customers will benefit from the new and improved office,” Ms Russell said.
The new Parkes Centrelink Customer Service Centre is located at 57 Currajong Street, Parkes, and will be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
