Minister officially opens new Centrelink office in Rockingham [29 January 2010]

Minister for Human Services, Chris Bowen MP, today officially opened the new Centrelink Customer Service Centre in Rockingham.

Emergency relief for Laverton region [27 January 2010]

The Australian Government today announced extra emergency relief and financial counselling services will soon be available in Laverton and the Ngaanyatjarra Lands in Western Australia to help local residents who are experiencing financial hardship.

Online improvements mean more convenient and faster payments for families [5 January 2010]

More families are choosing to claim family payments over the Internet, with around half of all family assistance claims now being made using convenient and improved online services.
