Report Employment Income and Participation
If you are eligible, you can report your employment income, Activity Test/ participation details and changes to your circumstances online instead of returning your Reporting Statement (Application for payment) form to a Customer Service Centre.

Note: You need to register for Online Services to use these secure services. Once you have registered, select the log on button at the right of your screen to start using Online Services.

What you need to know when reporting
When you report your employment income and Activity Test/participation details, you need to know:
- that you can report on or after your reporting date. You cannot report before your reporting date
- to report by 5 pm on your reporting date to avoid any delays in your payment
- if you have to meet the activity test, you can report online up to 6 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 3 days late, you will need to provide a reason
- if you are a student, you can report online up to 13 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 13 days late, you need to call us or visit your nearest Centrelink Customer Service Centre
- if you are not a student or if you don't have to meet the activity test, you can report online up to 6 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 6 days late, you need to call us or visit your Centrelink Customer Service Centre.
Check the information on your Reporting Statement for the dates you are due to report.
