What you need to know when reporting
When you report your employment and activity test details, you need to know:
- that you can report on or after your reporting date. You cannot report before your reporting date
- to report by 5 pm on your reporting date to avoid any delays in your payment
- if you have to meet the activity test, you can report online up to 2 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 2 days late, you need to return your completed application for payment form to your nearest Centrelink Customer Service Centre. Weekends count, so if you are due to report on Friday you only have until Sunday
- if you are a student, you can report online up to 13 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 13 days late, you need to call us or visit your nearest Centrelink Customer Service Centre
- if you are not a student or if you don't have to meet the activity test, you can report online up to 6 days after your reporting date. If you are more than 6 days late, you need to call us or visit your Centrelink Customer Service Centre.
