Update/advise Centrelink online about your details, to manage any planned deductions or your online services account.

Note: You need to register for online services to use these secure services. Once you have registered, select the log on button at the right of your screen to start using online services.

Information you can update/advise


Service Description Access Level
Contact details Update your address, accommodation, email and telephone details. 3
Bank account details Update the bank account details where payments made to you by Centrelink or the Family Assistance Office are sent. 3
Child schooling details Update your child's school status for Child Care Benefit. 2
Deductions for Centrepay and Tax Change the current amount being deducted, cancel the deduction or arrange for an amount to be deducted in the future. 2
Family income estimate Update your family income estimate online if you get Family Tax Benefit Part A, Family Tax Benefit Part B or Child Care Benefit. 2
Family Tax Benefit child reviews Complete your Family Tax Benefit Child Review online if your child is within 2 weeks of turning 16 or 21 years old. 2
Update study details Allows you to view and update course details for Youth Allowance or Austudy. Use as an alternative to completing the Course details required for Youth Allowance or Austudy form. 2
Non-lodgement of tax Return Advise Centrelink and the Family Assistance Office that you do not need to lodge a tax return with the Australian Taxation Office for any of the last three financial years. 2
Online services password/PIN Change your existing online services password/PIN. 1
Online services registration Upgrade your online registration access level, edit your registration details or cancel your registration. 1
Rent Deduction Scheme Cancel your Rent Deduction Scheme deductions. 2
Repayments for Centrelink/Family Assistance Office Debts This service will link you to Australia Post's POSTBillpay website, where you can make a repayment to the money you owe Centrelink or the Family Assistance Office. 2
Return to work Inform the Family Assistance Office that you have returned to work for the first time following the birth of a child or caring for a child. 2
Study/training or work details Update your eligible hours (your work, training or study information) for Approved Child Care Benefit. 2

This means you may be able to use services at this level or lower, as long as they suit your circumstances.
