Change of circumstances

You need to tell the Family Assistance Office if your circumstances change when you are receiving Child Care Benefit. For example, you need to tell us if your (and your partner’s) income changes or your child stops using child care.

If you do not tell the Family Assistance Office about the changes you may be overpaid, and you will probably have to pay the money back.

If you deliberately do not tell the Family Assistance Office about changes, you could be charged with fraud.
