How do I claim Telephone Allowance?

Your eligibility for Telephone Allowance is assessed when you claim your Centrelink payment or your Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.

If receiving a qualifying payment, you may test your eligibility for Telephone Allowance if you subsequently become a telephone or internet subscriber.

What information do I need to make a claim?

You need to show that you have a telephone connected in your own or your partner's name, and if eligible, show that you have a home internet service connected in your own or your partner’s name.
