Change of circumstances
You need to tell us if your circumstances change when you are receiving Disability Support Pension. For example, you need to tell us if you or your partner:
- earn any income
- get a lump sum payment
- go into care
- live separately due to illness
- move house
- start or stop working.
You need to let us know within 14 days in case this affects your payment.
- If you don't tell us about the changes you may be overpaid, and you will probably have to pay the money back.
- If you deliberately do not tell the us about changes, you could be charged with fraud.
- You may have to pay a recovery fee if you give us incorrect information about your employment income.
