Residence requirements

To be eligible for Maternity Immunisation Allowance you must be an Australian resident.

To qualify you must be living in Australia permanently as:

• an Australian citizen, or
• the holder of a permanent resident visa, or
• the holder of special category visa - that is you arrived on a New Zealand passport, or
• the holder of a particular temporary visa - either a 'partner provisional', 'interdependency' or 'temporary protection' visa.

Your child must also be:

• an Australian resident, or
• the holder of special category visa residing in Australia, or
• living with you.
