Income and Assets Tests for Partner Allowance:

Partner Allowance is subject to an Income Test and Assets Test as shown below. These income and assets tests are effective from 1 July 2008.

Income Test:

Go to Income Test Chart.
If your partner gets Special Benefit, go to Income and Assets Test for Special Benefit.

Assets Test:

Homeowners go to assets test for homeowners.
Non-Homeowners go to assets test for non-homeowners.
Hardship provisions may apply.
