You must be undertaking approved full-time or part-time study. The part-time study must be at least 25 per cent of a full-time study load and can be approved if you are a sole parent, carer or you have a substantial disability. The Pensioner Education Supplement is a non-taxable payment and does not have an income or assets tests. Please Note: If you receive any of the above payments and are undertaking or have a Masters degree or Doctorate, you may not be eligible for Pensioner Education Supplement.
