Eligibility

You may be eligible for Widow Allowance if you are a woman and you:

• were born on or before 1 July 1955
• are not a member of a couple
• have become widowed, divorced or separated (including separated de facto) since turning 40 years of age
• have no recent workforce experience.

Other payment options

Depending on your circumstances if you were born after 1 July 1955, you may be eligible for another payment.
