Payment rates
The maximum payment rate of Wife Pension you can get paid is $755.50 per fortnight. This amount includes a Pension Supplement.
This payment rate is effective from 20 March 2012.
*Customers in receipt of a pension on 19 September 2009 may be assessed under transitional arrangements and be eligible for different rates of payment.
Income and assets tests
The amount you get depends on your income and assets.
Payment adjustments and reviews
Wife Pension is usually adjusted on 20 March and 20 September each year in line with increases in the costs of living.
From time to time, your Wife Pension is reviewed.
