Working with Interpreters Video/DVD

The video/DVD covers common problems faced when working with interpreters, and step by step strategies for running streamlined three-way interviews.

It includes 9 scenarios in a variety of settings including Centrelink, banks, councils and doctors' surgeries. Debriefs are included on the video/DVD.

The DVD features 2 extra segments with tips on how to work with telephone interpreters and interpreters for the deaf and hearing impaired.

You can use the self-study guide to work through the video/DVD independently, or run group presentations using the trainers' guide.

How much does it cost?

The cost for Working with Interpreters on video or DVD is:

  • $97.50 standard price
  • $20 for community organisations

The price includes GST, postage and handling within Australia.

Note: If you have previously purchased the video version and would like to upgrade to the DVD, the cost is $20.

How do I order?

There are 2 ordering and payment options.

Credit card

Credit card is the preferred payment option. To let us know you want to pay by credit card email details of your name, business name and ABN, address for delivery and billing, contact information and the quantity to multicultural.services.nat@centrelink.gov.au. We will reply and send you a customer reference number. To progress your payment call 1300 130 379 and follow the prompts (keep your customer reference number handy), or you can use the online payment option Government EasyPay - internet payments. The bank will let us know when your payment has been processed and your product/s will be shipped with a tax invoice.
