Welfare to Work: Job Capacity AssessmentAccurately assessing people's job capacity is critical to determining who should have an obligation to seek work. Assessments are also key to referring job seekers to the right services to help them find work. The Government will introduce a new job capacity assessment to provide accurate assessments and referrals to appropriate services. Around $316 million over four years will be invested. A new Pre-vocational Participation Account will provide short-term interventions, such as pain management, to enable quick movement of job seekers into work. More Information?
