Disabled Australian Apprentice Wage Support Program
This is a payment (through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations) to employers who employ eligible apprentices with disabilities who would normally face difficulty obtaining an approved apprenticeship, or employers who currently employ an apprentice who has become disabled during his/her apprenticeship and needs assistance.
For more information about these disability programs, or any enquiries relating to employment assistance for job seekers with disabilities, illness or injury, contact your local Centrelink Customer Service Adviser or phone the Disability, Sickness and Carers phone line on 13 2717.
