Financial Information Service (FIS) seminars

The Financial Information Service holds financial education seminars in a range of locations.

Seminars are aimed at:

  • younger people who want to know about how they can save for their future
  • people nearing retirement who want to know how to prepare for it
  • retirees who want to understand their pension and the options they have.

How do I book into a seminar or find out more?

  • Telephone 13 6357 from 8.00am to 7.00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
  • Email fis.seminar.bookings@centrelink.gov.au. Please include the title, date and location of the seminar you are interested in, and an alternative contact such as a phone number.

Can I get FIS to deliver seminars for my group or organisation?

On request, FIS Officers may be able to present a seminar or a series of seminars specifically targeted for your group or organisation.

So that your request is directed to the FIS Officer in your local area, please state 'you are requesting a FIS Officer to be a presenter at a seminar' and include:

  • the name of your organisation
  • your location
  • your contact details
  • preferred dates.
