JobAccess:JobAccess is the first, free information and advice service of its kind in Australia. It provides a ‘one-stop shop’ for information and advice on the employment of people with a disability and offers practical workplace solutions for job seekers and their employers. The new service replaces the current DEWR JobAble website. JobAccess consists of an easy to use, comprehensive website and telephone advice service. The website provides information on the full range of Australian Government services for the employment of people with a disability, along with step-by-step guides for recruitment, job search, workplace adjustment, and information on rights and responsibilities at work. JobAccess also acts as a gateway to the online Workplace Adjustment Tool and the Workplace Modification Scheme. The telephone service will be staffed by JobAccess Advisers who will provide callers with confidential and expert advice on all disability related employment matters.
