Job Placement Services:

Job Placement Services are the Australian Government funded recruitment services, with more than 400 organisations delivering services from over 2500 offices across Australia.

Job Placement Services are provided by private recruitment companies and other providers of Australian Government employment services, including Job Network and Disability Employment Network members, Indigenous Employment Centres and Australian Apprenticeship Centres. These organisations are called Job Placement Organisations (JPOs).

JPOs are licensed by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to canvass employers for vacancies. They then match, screen, refer and place suitable job seekers into those vacancies. JPOs are committed to providing free professional services for registered job seekers.
