Youth Pathways

Are you thinking of leaving school early?

Youth Pathways helps young people to complete Year 12 (or its equivalent) and progress to further education, training or employment. Participants receive personalised support and guidance, to help overcome barriers to participation in education, training or employment services programs.

Who is eligible to access the program?

To be eligible to participate in Youth Pathways, a young person must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 13 to 19 and:

  • at risk of leaving school before completing year 12, or have left school in the last year without completing year 12, or
  • think you’ll struggle to either go back to complete your schooling, or get into some sort of training or a job.

Young people who are not getting a Centrelink payment may access the program.
