Legal Aid
Legal Aid is a government funded legal service that assists those who may not normally be able to access necessary legal services to access those services. Centrelink can assist customers, including those who are financially disadvantaged, disabled, from non-English speaking backgrounds, women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those who are institutionalised, in gaining access to Legal Aid services in their state.
