Centrelink Multilingual Call allows you to speak to Centrelink in your own language. This is not an interpreter service. You can call this service to have your questions answered directly by Centrelink employees in your own language.

Service in some languages is available by returning your call.

Calls from your home phone to the service from anywhere in Australia are charged at a fixed rate. That rate may vary from the price of a local call and may also vary between telephone service providers. Calls from public and mobile phones may be charged at a higher rate.

Local times of service are:

NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD* and TAS 8.00am to 5.00pm
SA and NT* 7.30am to 4.30pm
WA* 6.00am to 3.00pm

* QLD, NT and WA times change with daylight saving:

QLD 7.00am to 4.00pm
NT 6.30am to 3.30pm
WA 5.00am to 2.00pm
